PositionThe OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated and
creative Postdoctoral Fellow to join the laboratory of Dr. Nelson
Alexander in the Discovery Sciences Oncology team at Roche
Diagnostics. The interests of the lab are currently focused on
implementing new tumor sampling methodologies to address tumor
heterogeneity at the cellular and molecular level, and applying
these methods to improve cancer outcome disparities. We are looking
for candidates with a proven track record of excellence in either
Cancer Biology, Single Cell Biology or Biochemistry. The successful
candidate will have a strong scientific background that could
include: cancer biology, immunology, NGS/RNAseq and, and sequencing
data analysis.The Roche Diagnostics scientific environment has

basic science questions. Our successful post-doctoral fellows go on
to pursue careers in both industry and in academia. Who you
are:
- You have a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology,
or a related field with a solid publication record that includes at
least one first-authored publication.
- You have previous laboratory experience in cancer research,
including hands-on work with cancer models, molecular biology
techniques, and/or data analysis relevant to oncology studies.
- You have excellent communication and writing skills as well as
a track record of working in highly collaborative
environmentsPreferred:
- Experience with next generation sequencing, RNAseq, flow
cytometry
- Experience with the computational analysis of sequencing

$78,400 and 84,400.. Actual pay will be determined based on
experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other
